Ocular surface toxicity of depatuxizumab mafoditin (ABT-414): case reports

The purpose of this study is to report the clinical features and outcomes ocular surface toxicity following depatuxizumab mafoditin (ABT-414) therapy for unresectable glioblastoma. Ocular signs symptoms three patients treated with ABT-414 during a phase III trial glioblastoma multiforme were evaluated. Both eyes all damaged week after first infusion molecule. In patients, mild-to-moderate keratitis could be ascertained, along decreased visual acuity blurred vision, as well foreign-body sensation redness. Symptoms improved 4 weeks. conclusion, may cause transient toxicity. initiation artificial tears lubricant ointment was enough control symptoms. A multidisciplinary approach, complete ophthalmologic monitorization, elaboration protocols are required adequately manage these patients.
